At GuruWalk we are committed to the quality of the tours available on the platform. The opinions of Walkers who have booked through GuruWalk are the most useful source of evaluation of published tours and have the ability to impact the decision-making of new travellers who want to book a tour. For this reason, the following aspects should be considered in the content policy for moderating the reviews that are written on GuruWalk, helping the Quality Team to keep the best experiences active.

At GuruWalk we take transparency, clarity, and a trust-based relationship with our community very seriously. Any attempt to cheat or defraud any member of the community will be reprimanded with an account suspension, review history deletion, or even an expulsion from the platform.

Content Policy for reviews on GuruWalk

Write fair and constructive reviews based on your experience with the guru. Never write insults or hurtful messages, keeping in mind that we are all people.

1. Congruence
   

The opinion must contain relevant information about the experience and must be related to the correct performance of the guruwalk. Therefore, it cannot express aspects over which the guide has no control, such as the weather, nor will opinions be considered because you do not share some of the themes or beliefs presented on the tour. Finally, reviews lack authority if you as a traveller did not comply with the rules and advice received from the Guru for the correct execution of the tour (you do not arrive on time at the meeting point, more people go than booked, etc.).

1. Personal
   

We want to know about your personal experience. For this reason, you should not quote other people in the group or perceptions beyond your own that were brought up during the tour. You can always give as much detail about your experience as possible, as the guides appreciate constructive or supportive criticism of their work, and you can always give advice to other travelers to better enjoy the guruwalk. 

1. It must be part of a GuruWalk experience.
   

Guides and agencies have different products and services offered on multiple platforms, it is important that you evaluate only the experience you booked through our platform, as GuruWalk is not responsible for bookings made outside its platform and tours or experiences that you do not find on GuruWalk. 

1. Honest
   

Reviews must be written by real people who have attended the experience and who made or are part of a booking on GuruWalk, if the team detects a review from fake users or related to the Guru (guide) account, the account will be sanctioned and the user created for this purpose will be deleted.

1.  Respectful

Remember that the guides make their living from this work, therefore in no case should it be created to harm the integrity of the Guru, nor should it have a threatening, discriminatory or obscene tone.

If a review does not comply with the above principles, the team has the option to remove the review at its discretion, without notifying the creator. 

This policy will always be available and updated for the whole community.
