General Glossary 🤓

Here you will find our most commonly used concepts. In short, our own vocabulary:

  • GURU: it’s YOU, literally 🙂  Guru is the word we use to refer to our guides

  • WALKER: every person / tourist that books and attends a tour with you 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

  • EVENT: it’s how we refer to a tour taking place at a specific day and time (ex. the event taking place on Thursday at 14.00) 🗓️

  • NO-SHOW: when someone doesn’t show-up for a tour (it can be referred both to a walker and to a Guru - and we struggle to prevent it from happening 😥) 👻

  • DASHBOARD: the section inside your personal account where you can check on your current performance 🚀

  • THE “RECOMMENDED” LABEL: it helps walkers choose tours with the highest quality. This is assigned automatically by the algorithm based on the average on quality factors (read more HERE)
