If you're an agency or coordinate multiple guides, you can give them access to your account with the Guide Role.

If you are the owner of a GuruWalk account and work with other people on your team, this feature is for you. Thanks to the guide role, you can invite other guides to help you manage the account, giving them limited access only to the tours they are responsible for.
Info
You gain in organization, control, and security, without the need to share your login credentials.

How do I invite a guide?

  1. From your computer: Guides
  2. From the app: Profile > Guides

Invite guides by adding their name, email address, and selecting the tour or tours you want to give them access to.
They will need to accept the invitation.

They will only be able to access the information of the tours you assign to them. Be aware! They won’t see anything else.

Info
If you don’t see the "Guides" menu, contact your Account Manager for more information about your account and the possibility of activating this feature.

What can invited guides do?

Once you invite them and assign them a tour, they will have access to key features to operate the tour independently, without accessing the entire account.

Specifically, they will be able to:

  • View the bookings for the assigned tour

  • Contact walkers through the platform

  • Read messages from walkers

  • Mark attendance from the app

Idea
This allows them to manage their event more independently, and gives you more control over your team.

Advantages of using this feature:

1- Guide assignment per event

You can assign who will be responsible for a tour before it starts. That way, this person can contact the walkers in case of any issue, and walkers will reply directly to the assigned guide.
If there’s a change (e.g., meeting point), you can also edit who made it after the event.

2- Faster and easier attendance control

The assigned guide can check in directly from the app, scanning each booking’s QR code or marking it manually. This saves you from doing roll call yourself and helps close the event faster.

3- Quality data by guide

You’ll be able to see how each person is performing: if they have no-shows, cancellations, or how walkers rate their experience. This helps you detect which guides might need to improve.

Summary:

This freature is especially useful if:
  • You are an agency

  • You share tours with other guides

  • You want to delegate without losing control
