All tours on the platform are pay-what-you-want/consider, which means you don’t pay anything to reserve them; instead, at the end of the tour you decide how much to pay for the experience.
In order to make a fair payment, you can consider two aspects for which the guides (gurus) should be rewarded. On the one hand, take into account the fixed costs associated with their work; the commissions they must pay for each traveller (walker) who attends their tour (usually between €2-4), plus taxes such as self-employment and other local taxes. Once you have considered this, you can go on to value both the time invested by the guide (guru) and their training and how much you enjoyed the tour to arrive at the fairest price for each experience.
💸We recommend a minimum of €/$15 per person.
Some people give €/$15, others give €/$50 per person—you choose the amount you feel is fair. Taking into account what we explained earlier, if we give €15, approximately €5 of that will go towards the guide's (guru's) expenses and the other €10 is what they will receive as income.
