How does a guruwalk cost?
All tours on the platform are free to pay, which means that you do not have to pay anything to book them, but at the end of the tour you will decide the price of the tour you have participated in.
In order to make a fair payment, you can consider two aspects for which the guides should be rewarded. On the one hand, take into account the fixed costs associated with their work; the commissions they must pay for each traveller who attends their tour (usually between €2-4), plus taxes such as self-employment and other local taxes. Once you have considered this, you can go on to value both the time invested by the guide and their training and how much you enjoyed the tour to arrive at the fairest price for each experience.
💸 Some people give €/US$10, others give €/US$50, you choose the price. If we take into account what we have explained before, if we give €10, approximately 5 of them will be the guide's expenses and the other 5 are what he/she will receive as salary.
