How to set a limit time to accept the first booking of an event?

NotesTravellers can book your tour up to the last second before the tour start time.
This can cause problems, as you may not have received a booking before, meaning that you may not have seen a last-minute booking in time, and you could end up not show up at the meeting point.
That's why you can define the cut-off time for the first traveller to book the tour. It can be between 1 hour before, up to 12 hours before the departure of the tour... it's up to you. The maximum limit is 12 hours in advance, as more than that may cause you to lose the opportunity to receive many bookings.
After this time, if no bookings have been received*, the event will be automatically blocked and no one will be able to book it.

AlertNOTE*If you have already had at least one booking (even if it is cancelled), the event will be kept open until the last second, so that more people can sign up. In these cases, if you don't want to receive any more bookings, you will have to block the event manually, as explained here.

How to set the limit?

To set this limit, you have to click on "My Tours", and then you will see the tour that interests you (if you have several). You must click on “Edit” to access the editing panel of the tour information.

Then you have to select "Availability" at the end of the list. You can then go to the section that interests you via a drop-down list. (On the laptop, the menu with the sections may be on the left side of your webpage)

There you'll find "Block events without prior bookings" to set how many hours in advance the event will be blocked if you have not received a booking yet.

Important! Do not forget to click on "Save", otherwise the change will not be effective.

Example:

If you have a tour for 10 January at 10am, and you have set up 2 hrs in advance for the tour to be blocked, at 8am on 10 January, if you did not receive any bookings for that time, the event will be automatically blocked and will no longer be available for booking.
