Quality of the advertisement
How the quality of a tour advertisement is rated?
It takes into account the quality of the tour card and its relevance to what walkers are looking for.
What can you do to improve this factor?
The quality of the photos of the tour and profile:
Use between 5 and 10 attractive photos showing both emblematic monuments that you visit and people having a good time during the tour. Remember to use quality images in JPG format with a minimum resolution of 1024 pixels.
The tour's title:
Think of a short, concise and, at the same time, attractive title so that travelers understand what the tour is about. It is very important that the tour title catches the eye at first sight.
The tour's description and content:
Make an interesting description of the tour that offers a quick and visual idea of what is going to be visited. Tips:
Highlights of what will be discovered to facilitate reading.
Bold to highlight relevant information
Descriptions that make travelers book your tour over others.
Leave some wow factor for the tour.
Schedules, availability and language:
Having different alternatives to offer will help your tour end up offering what they are looking for. It is important to pay attention to the following:
- They must be alternatives adapted to the destination and the time of year.
- Offering more schedules/availability/languages doesn´t necessarily mean a tour will be better positioned.
- Adapt the availability of your tour to the existing offer at the destination to identify opportunities in terms of schedules, languages and themes, such as:
- Tour themes: Mysteries and legends, gastronomy, alternative, etc…
- Extra availability on specific holidays or high season.
- Provide languages based on the nationality of travelers in your city.
The most important thing here is that your profile is the most appealing within a destination.
The algorithm will be measuring all the factors constantly so that it is always as up-to-date as possible. Also, as we know that each profile and destination is different, do not hesitate to write to your Account Manager or to the email of gurus@guruwalk.com
