How to create/update a tour schedule?

You don't know how to create a schedule for your tour or how to update it? Here we explain how to change your tour schedule step by step.

You have to click on “My Tours”, and then search for the tour that interests you (if you have several) and

click on “Edit”, to modify the tour information.

You will arrive at the editing panel of the tour information. You can then go to the section that interests you via a drop-down list (On the laptop, the menu with the sections may be on the left side of the webpage.).

To change the tour schedule, you have to select "Languages and schedules".

You will reach the panel to change the tour schedules and languages. In the following example, you have a tour with a schedule in Spanish and English that we are going to modify.

To add another language, you just have to click on the "Add a language" button. If you want to do the tour in a language that you cannot find on the list, do not hesitate to contact us, and we will add it.

To delete a language, you just have to click on "Remove", in the corresponding language. This will delete all the schedules created for that language. If you just want to delete one of the schedules, click on "remove" of that one.

Now we are going to modify the English schedule. To do so, you just have to click on "Edit" for this language.

Is important you create a welcome message for this specific tour and language.

Then you can add and modify several schedules.

Before doing any changes, you must be sure you know the schedule you want to update. It’s essential, as there is an overlap of all the chosen schedules!

Case 1: All year schedule

Set a schedule that will not change according to the season: select the option for the whole year, deselect the days that you’re not doing the tour, and add the start time(s).

Example: We put a tour on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 2:00 p.m.

If later you want to do a tour on Saturday at 4:00 p.m., you will have to add another schedule. Etc.

Case 2: one schedule per season (specific months)

Instead of creating an “all year” schedule, you can create various schedules according to the different months of the year, taking into account the seasons like summer and winter.

How to do it: Just select "specific months" to do this kind of schedule under "months" and select the months you want to do this one.

Example:

  • From November to March: Tours on Wednesday and Thursday at 2:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  • From April to October: Tours every day of the week at 2:00 p.m. and from Thursday to Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

It will take 4 schedules in total

  • From November to March: Wednesday and Thursday hours at 2:00 p.m. and other hours on Friday and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  • From April to October: Hours all week at 2:00 p.m. and other hours from Thursday to Sunday at 4:00 p.m.

Case 3: a schedule for a specific day or date range

You will be able to open the availability one or more extra day(s), in addition to your normal schedule, if there is a special date like Halloween, or a holiday in your city coming up.

Example:

Context: We are in the summer schedule of case 2 and there is a big celebration in your city on Saturday 15, Sunday 16 and Monday 17 of June. I want to do tours 3 times these days, at 10h30, 14h and 16h.

How to do it: You only need to add a schedule by "date range from 15 to 17 June"deselect "Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday" in Days of the week, and add 10:30 and 16 hours for these 3 specific days.
