New Guru Admin – Easier to Use

Some of you have already seen the new Guru Admin, in the successive versions that have been improved mainly thanks to your feedback ❤️

Info
If the new Guru Admin is completely new to you, here are the key features that will allow you to manage your GuruWalk account more simply and easily.

What has changed, mainly?

You’ll see that some sections still look and work the same as before. For now, we’ve focused on improving:

1- My Tours

Access this section to check the status of all your tours (open, draft, under review, etc.).

In each open tour you can:

  • View the tour: See the tour page as a walker would on GuruWalk.

  • Edit: Takes you to the old section, where you can make changes to your tour (Basic info, itinerary, languages, schedules, etc.).

  • See and modify schedules: New schedules section that lets you view and create schedules (for the whole year, by month, date ranges, or individual days).

2- Calendar

Your calendar is now easier to use.

It allows you to:

  • Filter more easily.

  • Create one-off events.

  • Get a global overview of bookings per month, thanks to the side view of the full month on the left.

  • Modify events in just a few clicks while still seeing the original event, which now appears blocked and dotted in red so you don’t lose context.

Inside each event you can:
  • Edit the event: Change the date/time of the event. Remember the original event will still exist, but it will be blocked and shown with red dots.
  • Contact travelers: Either by clicking directly on WhatsApp (next to each booking) or by sending a group message to all travelers in the event.
  • Block the event: It will appear dotted in red in your calendar.
  • Cancel the event if you really have to: It will appear highlighted in red in your calendar.

From each event you can now also register attendees and no-shows in a much simpler and more intuitive way. We explain how to do this in another article.

3 - New way to create schedules (or events)

From here, you can easily see all the schedules you’ve created and block date ranges if you won’t be available on GuruWalk.

Create a new schedule by choosing:

  • Language (from the languages you offer your tour in)

  • Type of schedule (year-round, specific months, date range, or single days)

  • Times (you’ll need to add each of the times when your event will be available)

We recommend giving each schedule a name so you can identify them more easily.
E.g.: Winter schedule
E.g.: Saturdays in September 2025
E.g.: Low season

Block a date range:
Add a date range when you won’t be available on GuruWalk; give it a name, so it’s easier to identify when you review it in this section.
E.g.: Family trip
E.g.: Cruise season
E.g.: Europe trip

I want to see it in video!
